Hi Guys!
Today's recipe is a little bit more Christmassy! This is a basic shortbread recipe from Mary Berry's Baking Bible. It makes around
Ingredients
175g Plain Flour
75g Caster Sugar
100g Butter
Steps
Step 1
Preheat oven to 160 degrees celsius (140 fan oven) and grease baking trays.
Step 2
Mix the flour and sugar together.
Step 3
Rub in the butter to the flour mixture until it forms a dough.
Step 4
Roll the dough out onto a floured surface and use a mitten cutter (mine's from Sainsbury's, a similar is here) and transfer onto a baking tray.
Step 5
Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes then allow to cool.
Step 6
Roll out ready to roll icing and cut using the mitten cutter.
Step 7
When the biscuits are fully cooled, place the icing mittens over the top. Make sure to position them so as much of the biscuit is covered as possible and decorate as desired.
Thanks for stopping by! :)
